Resep Rujak Cingur – Rujak Cingur Recipe

Ingredients/ Bahan :

3 pcs Fried Beancurd (Tahu)
1 pack Rice cake (Lontong)
Prawn Crackers or Krupuk rujak (Krupuk udang)
1 bunch Kangkong
1 Cucumber (Timun)
1/4kg Beef tendon (Otot sapi)

Sauce/ Saus:
1tsp Black Shrimp paste (Petis udang)
2 tbsp Fried Peanut (Kacang tanah goreng)
1 tsp Fish paste (Petis ikan)
1 cup Cucumber juice (Air perasan timun)
Hot Water (air panas)
1 Red chillies (cabe rawit)

Directions/Cara membuat:

1. Steam or blanch the kangkong pieces. Cut the cucumber into pieces. Cut the lontong and beancurd into pieces as well.
2. Grind the peanut with hot water until smooth, add black shrimp paste, fish paste, chillies, and add cucumber juice grind till smooth and as runny as you like using the cucumber juice.
3. Arrange the lontong, kangkong, cucumber, beancurd on a plate, and cooked beef tendon (boil until soft and slice thinly) pour over the some of the sauce.
4. Garnish with some crackers.
Indonesian:
1. Rebus kangkung yang sudah dipotong2. Lalu potong2 lontong, tahu, timun.
2. Ulek kacang dengan sedikit air panas hingga halus, tambahkan petis udang,petis ikan, dan cabe, ulek hingga halus dan rata. Tambahkan air timun hingga agak encer (sesuai selera).
3. Susun lontong di piring, lalu potongan tahu, timun, kangkung, dan beberapa potong otot sapi (yang sudah direbus sampai empuk). Beri saus dan krupuk di atasnya.
